Week 1:

introduction

Cosmic Flood is a series a 7-week Lenten art installation that ventures to use visual spirituality as a medium to express the 40-day journey of Christ towards the cross. These series of works, one for each Sunday of Lent, will be exploring both the vast "otherworldliness" and wild accessibility (seen as gold flakes) of divinity within the human experience. As we fast, pray, and live within the story of Jesus during Lent, we encounter the incarnate God whose experience of pain, betrayal, and dread seems eerily similar to our own.
